MBA presents Tech All-Stars Award for contributions to mortgage technology

mortgage bankers associationThe Mortgage Bankers Association and Mortgage Banking Magazine recently presented nine industry innovators with the Tech All-Stars Award at the organization’s annual technology conference and expo.

This year marks the 12th year Mortgage Banking Magazine has presented the technology awards, which are given to individuals who have made significant contributions to mortgage technology.

Award winners included Level1Analytics CMB Thomas J. Healy; DocMagic President and CEO Dominic Iannitti; DocuTech Corp. founder and CEO Ty Jenkins; Mark Kleingers, a solutions architect at eLynx; Alex Levin, the director of financial engineering at Andrew Davidson & Co.; Eric Lyon, the executive director and director of product marketing at Freddie Mac; QuestSoft Corp. President and founder Leonard Ryan; Dan Sogorka, the president of Black Knight Financial Services’ RealEC division; and Ernst Publishing CEO Greg Teal.

“These nine individuals are to be congratulated for the technological foresight and innovation they have brought to the mortgage industry,” MBA President and CEO David Stevens said. “Their valued work is part of the tectonic shift that is happening in our business.”

The awards were presented at the MBA’s 2014 National Technology in Mortgage Banking Conference & Expo held this week in Los Angeles.

The MBA, headquartered in Washington, D.C., is a national association representing the real estate finance industry.
