Discover Financial Services was recently named among InformationWeek’s Elite 100—the top business technology innovators in the U.S.—for its new app that allows account managers to see real-time customer data and to enhance the customer experience.
“As a leading direct bank and payments partner, delivering the best possible customer service via the phone, internet and mobile is one of our highest priorities,” Glenn Schneider, the chief information officer at Discover, which ranked 71 on this year’s Elite 100 list, said. “We leveraged leading-edge data analytics and real-time technologies to help us instantly identify, understand and successfully address the needs of our customers.”
The InformationWeek Elite 100 spotlights technology-based investments, strategies and results of some of the nation’s most well-known organizations. The list is now in its 26th year and was narrowed down from the original 500 to 100 this year.
