Zions Bancorp subsidiary California Bank & Trust, one of the largest banks in the state, recently launched a new website that allows bank customers to receive real-time mobile fraud text alerts.
The move follows last year’s online banking upgrade for DirectNET Consumer and Direct Business accounts and the introduction of an iPad app.
The new website will feature more customer touch points to guide customers through banking options, a branch locator, a new blog and business resource center, a dedicated section for commercial real estate and comparative product information.
Mobile fraud alerts will automatically notify customers of potentially fraudulent transactions and allow customers to confirm the legitimacy of questionable transactions. Customers can sign up with their mobile phone number and an approved credit card number.
“Our number one goal in the development of this site and expanding our products and services with the new fraud text alerts is to enhance our ability to provide superior customer service to our clients throughout California,” Steven Borg, the senior vice president and corporate marketing director at California Bank & Trust, said. “We have expanded the information accessible to our customers, made it easier for them to protect their credit from fraudulent charges and introduced a new section for commercial real estate financing options. Overall, we have enhanced our ability to inform, educate and connect both online and in real-time.”
