North American Bancard said on Monday that it appointed Kirk Haggarty as the company’s new CFO, effective immediately.
Haggarty’s background includes both accounting and finance. He joins NAB from Atlas Oil Company, where he served as executive vice president and CFO for four years. Before Atlast, Haggarty served nine years as the co-founder and president for Donnelly Penman & Partners—an investment banking firm specializing in mergers and acquisitions, capital raising and other financial advisory services.
“With the positive growth North American Bancard has experienced over the past two years, it was critical that we add a CFO who had a firm grasp of the financial industry and understood how to handle complex transactions through practical experience,” NAB President and CEO Marc Gardner said. “Kirk brings the experience and the expertise to steward NAB through our financial activities and has the deep background required to help push us through our period of aggressive expansion.”
Based in Michigan, NAB is a payment solutions provider for non-profit organizations and businesses. The company processes more than $13 billion in electronic transactions annually for more than 230,000 merchants nationwide.
