National Credit Union Administration Chairman Debbie Matz announced last week the appointment of Lynn Markgraf as the agency’s region I associate regional director for programs.
Markgraf currently serves as a supervisory examiner for NCUA’s region V. She will assume her duties on Feb. 23, succeeding Marcia Sarrazin, who has retired from the agency.
Markgraf began her career at the NCUA in 1989 as a district examiner. She then moved on to become a supervision analyst, program officer in NCUA’s Office of Examination and Insurance and director of insurance in region V.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Alabama’s Jacksonville State University.
Region I includes federally insured credit unions in Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Hampshire, New York, Rhode Island, Vermont and Wisconsin.
