Arizona-based Better ATM Services, which offers technology that allows ATMs to load, activate and dispense prepaid cards, announced a number of leadership changes last week as part of an effort to accelerate the company’s growth plan.
Howard Green will take over as the acting president and CEO, where he will be responsible for driving growth through go-to-market strategies, creating new commercialization opportunities and expanding leadership resources.
Green helped launch Apple’s original version of FaceTime and speech products as the divisional general manager for global product management and engineering. He also participated on the Apple team that established franchise markets in small business, desktop engineering and QuickTime streaming.
Additionally, technology experts Mark Olson and Dan Perez will join Better ATM Services’ board of directors, and Todd Nuttall, the current president and CEO of the company, will assume the role of executive vice president of enabling technologies.
Olson spent 25 years with Intel, where he played a role in product definition for many of Intel’s components and influenced the development of Microsoft Windows. He has served on the board of directors for both Wirex Communications and the Intel Alumni Network.
Perez is the founder of OnCore Manufacturing Services, which provides product services for the medical, science and industrial sectors. Previously, he served as the executive vice president of worldwide sales and marketing at Solectron, where he was responsible for strategic planning, marketing, research and demand creation processes.
“Better ATM Services’ strategic plan has always envisioned growth fueled by a high-powered product commercialization team,” Nuttall said. “To facilitate revenue growth and aggressive market adoption and expansion, we are realigning the senior roles in the company to include these Silicon Valley veterans who will help us capitalize on the successes we have achieved and build on our momentum. This allows me to shift my day-to-day focus towards our continuing technology innovation efforts that have established Better ATM Services as the recognized authority on ATM-issued prepaid technologies.”
