Virtual Piggy partners with Gorilla Group to expand Oink in e-commerce

OinkVirtual Piggy announced on Monday that it has partnered with Gorilla Group, an award-winning commerce solutions provider, to expand its reach in the e-commerce industry.

Virtual Piggy is the provider of Oink, a virtual piggy bank and digital wallet that allows kids and teens to shop online and provides parents with control over purchasing and spending limits.

“As a results-orientated industry leader, Gorilla is an excellent addition to our Channel Partner Program,” Oink Founder and CEO Jo Webber said. “With their in-depth knowledge of the Magento platform and broad client base, we look forward to working together to further expand the footprint of Oink payments to e-commerce sites nationwide.”

Gorilla has been named eBay Magento Partner of the Year and is the two-time recipient of the Partner Excellence Award. The company has also received three Webby awards.

“Oink has taken the desire that parents have to give their kids the freedom to spend their allowance as they choose, yet still allow them to oversee what their kids are buying,” Gorilla E-Commerce Head Caleb Bryant said. “It’s pure genius. Oink found a niche in the overcrowded payments space and they are serving it extremely well.”
