Technology solutions provider Orderman announced o
63n Wednesday an agreement mobile point-of-sale processor payworks to integrate the company’s mPOS into its ordering and billing systems, allowing merchants to accept payments with chip and PIN devices at a lower cost.
Orderman, which provides technology solutions to the European hospitality industry, relies on payworks’ technology to prepare products for demand of mobile POS solutions. The integration of the mPOS will allow merchants using Orderman terminals to provides staff with a low-cost, fully certified credit card terminal that can be carried in their pocket.
Orderman currently provides mobile ordering devices to 35,000 merchants in nearly 50 countries around the world. The devices are used in the food and retail business by merchants like Fastorder, Valor and Vapiano.

Payworks recently secured another financing round in September with SpeedInvest, a Vienna-based Super Angel Fund. The company raised seed financing from Barikuta Partners early last year in a previous round of financing.
