NACHA calls for nominations for 2014 Payments System Awards

NACHANACHA—The Electronic Payments Association—recently called for nominations for the 2014 Payments System Awards, which recognize achievement in the development and implementation of electronic payments.

Awards include the 2014 George Mitchell Payments System Excellence Award, the Kevin O’Brien ACH Quality Award and PayltGreen Award.

The deadline for nomination submissions is Feb. 28. Nominees must adhere to NACHA’s Code of Conduct and “conduct their activities with the highest levels of integrity and professionalism.” NACHA and Regional Payments Associations employees are not eligible for the awards.

Winners of the awards will participate in video interviews, joint press releases and social media outreach with NACHA and will receive visibility throughout the year in NACHA’s awards section on its website.

Candidates will be reviewed by a team of industry experts on whether their activities contributed “sustained measurable benefits to industry stakeholders,” “exhibit quantifiable statistically significant outcomes” and whether the nominee met “clear goals and objectives that support defined business goals.”

Award recipients will receive recognition at the PAYMENTS 2014 Award Luncheon on April 6 to 9 in Orlando.
