Innovation Project announces winners of 2014 PYMNTS Innovator Awards

Innovation Project 2014The Innovation Project concluded last week with the announcement of the prestigious 2014 PYMNTS Innovator Awards, which recognize innovators in the payments industry.

Nearly 70 finalists competed for awards in 15 categories. Gold winners of the awards included LevelUp for “Most Innovative Company;” PaySimple eCheck for “Best Check Innovation;” transmodus for “Best Innovation via ACH;” Blackhawk for “Best Prepaid Innovation;” Square Cash for “Best Debit Innovation;” Credit Karma for “Best Credit Innovation;” for “Best B2B Innovation;” Incomm Cashtie for “Best Cash Innovation;” Fundbox for “Best Small Business Innovation;” Square Register for “Best POS Innovation;” Paydiant for “Most Invisible Company;”Coin for “Best Newcomer;” Apple TouchID for “Best New Technology;” Google Wallet for “Best Comeback Story;” and Bitcoin for “Most Disruptive Innovation.”

Dozens of other companies were recognized for silver and bronze awards in all 15 categories.
