CO-OP upgrades ATMs to allow for remote maintenance

220px-ATM_750x1300CO-OP Financial Services said on Monday that its ATM Visual Control tool will be upgraded to include Remote Manager to allow for remote maintenance on behalf of client ATMs.

“There are very few things more crucial to an outstanding member experience than what your member sees at the ATM,” CO-OP President and CEO Stan Hollen said. “The addition of Remote Manager to CO-OP ATM Visual Control not only enhances the member experience but also helps give credit unions a comprehensive tool to help maximize uptime.”

The feature will allow CO-OP and financial institutions to remotely reboot the ATM, troubleshoot ATMs and upload their event and error logs, distribute customized screen branding and acquire data regarding operating systems and configurations.

Introduced in 2011, the feature provides vendor device support to support an institution’s ATMs with one web-based application. ATM Visual Control with Remote Manager is available by itself or as an add-on.

“CO-OP ATM Visual Control is a wonderful tool to keep our credit union’s message the same everywhere our members visit” Kathy DeGroot, a marketing and technology specialist for Newaygo County Service Employees Credit Union in Michigan, said. “When members visit the ATM, they see the same design and message they see in-branch and on our website. The online visual control site is easy to navigate, and the best part is having remote control of what members see at our ATMs.”

CO-OP ATM Visual Control with Remote Manager is powered by Chicago-based TEKchand.
