CloudBuy appoints Visa’s Jonathan Holden as EMEA CEO

cloudBuyCloudBuy announced on Monday the appointment of Visa’s Jonathan Holden as the company CEO for the Europe, Middle East and Africa region, where he will be responsible for global partnerships and company expansion.

“We are delighted that Jonathan is joining us, he really understands both cloudBuy and Visa,” cloudBuy Executive Chairman Ronald Duncan said. “His extensive experience rolling out products to large corporate and government on a global basis is a perfect fit for cloudBuy.”

Holden is formerly the vice president of commercial solutions at Visa Europe, where he headed market development across 34 countries. He also helped lead Visa’s participation in the U.K. government’s Procurement Card Program.

Additionally, Holden headed prepaid for Visa Australia and worked with cloudBuy to bring the company into the prepaid disbursements for government, insurance and corporate incentives. Before his career at Visa, Holden worked with Barclaycard in product development, large corporate and public sectors.

“I am really excited to be joining cloudBuy to accelerate the uptake of its products in this significant new market,” Holden said. “I believe that cloudBuy has the best product set in the market and these are exciting times, as the business to business market starts the transition to electronic procurement and payments.”
