BitPay launches three all-inclusive pricing plans based on value, features

BitPay logoVirtual currency processor BitPay announced on Monday three new all-inclusive pricing plans based on their value and features as opposed to transaction fees, allowing merchants to choose a plan that suits their needs.

“No merchant service riding on the traditional interchange rails can offer all-inclusive pricing because there are three or four middlemen who want a cut of every transaction,” BitPay co-founder and CEO Tony Gallippi said, according to “Some processors tease with flat-rate pricing, but there are many hidden fees and limitations that make flat-rate offers an illusion.”

The new plans, which include professional, business and enterprise plans, begin at $30 per month and include access to 20 shopping cart plugins, client billing tools, sample code libraries and a bitcoin payment gateway API. Premium plans include priority telephone support and VPN access.

Merchants that use Magento, Drupal and WordPress can install any one of BitPay’s plugins and accept bitcoin without having to write programming code. Merchants can also fulfill shipments to 60 countries using FulFillment by Amazon, and merchants using QuickBooks can download and reconcile bitcoin sales, reports.

BitPay, which surpassed 10,000 merchants last month, recently translated its checkout into 10 additional languages to allow international customers to pay using instructions in their native language. The company is a sponsor of the Money2020 conference held this week in Las Vegas.
