Visa debuted its national advertising campaign for Visa Checkout on Sunday by announcing up to one million customers could win a free pizza from Pizza Hut.
The television advertising campaign featured professional surfer Kolohe Andino with direction from Doug Liman. The first one million fans to purchase a large pizza for delivery online at PizzaHut.com will receive a free large one-topping pizza for their next online order within 14 days of purchase.
“Visa Checkout offers our customers another simple and secure way to quickly order online from Pizza Hut, and we’re excited to be the first pizza company to pass along this convenience to consumers,” Carrie Walsh, the chief marketing officer for Pizza Hut, said.
Visa Checkout allows customers to store their payment information and make a purchase with a single login wherever the Visa Checkout logo is displayed.
The partnership with Pizza Hart is part of the first Visa Checkout campaign that, in addition to the television ads and digital advertising, features social engagement programs, retailer promotions and client activation programs.
