Visa, ADP partner to offer ALINE Pay electronic payroll to employers

visa_logoVisa and ADP announced on Tuesday they had reached an agreement to offer ADP’s ALINE Pay electronic payroll program, which includes the award-winning Visa prepaid ALINE Card that can be integrated into an existing payroll program.

“Increasingly, employees are benefiting from the prepaid suite of products for receiving payroll with immediate and secure access to their funds, especially underbanked and unbanked employees who have limited or no access to traditional banking relationships,” Brian Triplett, the head of North America prepaid products at Visa, said. “By working together, Visa and ADP continue to help businesses address the needs of an evolving workforce, while saving time and money with a paperless solution.”

The Visa prepaid card can be used as a standalone product or it can be used as just one part of the ADP ALINE Pay solution. The agreement extends Visa and ADP’s current relationship that focuses on making payroll more efficient for employers.

“As a leader in payroll distribution and processing, ADP helps organizations streamline payroll administration by enabling them to make the switch to 100 percent electronic payroll,” Gary Lott, ADP’s general manager and division vice president of electronic payments, unemployment claims, employment verification and wage garnishment services, said. “Through the ALINE Card and our agreement with Visa, we’re empowering today’s workforce to save money and time through online bill pay, mobile access, account balance alerts via text or email and the ability to make purchases in stores, online and over the phone.”
