The PULSE Debit Regulations Resource Center, as it has been named, was developed from a previous site that focused primarily on the Durbin amendment. The new site has information regarding debit card regulations that, the network said, users should be able to access and understand easily, Credit Union Times reports.
“We heard from many of our participants that they valued the convenience and comprehensiveness of this resource for debit-related legislative and regulatory news and information, and we believe that expanding the focus of the site will drive even greater value to our network participants,” Steve Sievert, the PULSE senior vice president of communications and marketing, said, according to Credit Union Times. “The Debit Regulation Resource Center is one more way for PULSE to provide guidance and insight to our clients.”
The new site will include debit issue regulation news, information and analysis from PULSE and associated industry experts.
Founded in 1980 by seven bank-holding firms, PULSE serves more than 4,000 banks and 350,000 ATMs across the country. PULSE boasts approximately one million ATMs in more than 80 countries.
