PSCU recently established a grassroots campaign aimed at helping credit unions across the country better connect with their communities, especially millenials.
The “Make Your Money Matter” campaign—done in coordination with GTE Financial—features a three-part video series produced by CUbroadcast. PSCU President and CEO Mike Kelly discussed the foundation of the campaign in the series, and GTE Financial Associate Vice President of Marketing Jennifer Maxfield pointed to the benefits the campaign has had on her credit union.
“PSCU and GTE Financial team up to show how effective social media can be, targeting and connecting with a very specific audience that fuels future success,” CUbroadcast host Mike Lawson said. “In this video series, both parties provide numerous examples of successes and reasons behind those successes – which enhance the value of the ‘Make Your Money Matter’ program. Plus, we talk about graduating from the trendy ‘big data’ and moving to a more valuable ‘big insight’. And thanks to Mike Kelly, we also discover the meaning of SMAC.”
Launched in 2010, CUbroadcast is a web-based credit union talk show that features video interviews to provide industry insight to credit unions and advocate. The show interviews experts nationwide to provide a look at trends and issues that affect the industry.
