prepaid financial servicesMasterCard prepaid partner Prepaid Financial Services recently announced plans to launch the SmartPayCard Prepaid MasterCard in Slovenia.

“We are delighted to be the first prepaid provider to launch a domestically issued prepaid MasterCard card in Slovenia and this represents another excellent first for the PFS Team,” PFS CEO Noel Moran said. “Over the last 12 months, we have launched new programmes in Botswana, Netherlands, France and Germany. This launch is further proof of our fast growing global operations. The SmartPay Card launch introduces an innovative payment solution for the people of Slovenia and we are proud to be leading these prepaid developments across the region.”

SmartPayCard Simple, which is ideal for online purchases, can be loaded with up to approximately $330, or €250. It carries no monthly fee for the first 12 months, and the card is not designed for ATM use.

SmartPayCard Premium, which is valid for three years, has a load limit of approximately $20, or €15, and carries a monthly service charge. The card can be used both as a virtual and physical card, with ATM withdrawals available.
