The National Restaurant Association announced on Monday a partnership with digital publishing firm SmartBrief to continue to offer summaries of the restaurant industry and public policy news that impacts industry participants.
“We are excited to offer Restaurant SmartBrief and draw on the high-quality resources of the SmartBrief team,” Scott DeFife, the executive vice president of policy and government affairs at the NRA, said. “Restaurant SmartBrief will allow us to reach a large audience of industry and business stakeholders, providing timely news and additional special reports on top issues for the foodservice industry.”
The newly re-launched Restaurant SmartBrief, which was originally launched in 2001, will feature exclusive and relevant industry news, including job listings, best practices and menu options, from multiple sources worldwide. The NRA is the largest food service trade organization in the world and supports over 500,000 restaurants.
“We’re very happy to be working with the National Restaurant Association again,” SmartBrief President and CEO Rick Stamberger said. “Their thought leadership, strong brand and great events will strengthen Restaurant SmartBrief’s role as a vital daily resource for foodservice professionals.”
SmartBrief seeks to provide its more than five million readers with timely, relevant and reliable information. The re-launched SmartBrief will also offer curated content that help readers make better decisions to enhance their business operations.
