Kentucky bankers invited to meet with state, federal regulators

Bluegrass Bankers Association BBAThe Bluegrass Bankers Association of Kentucky will sponsor the Regulators’ Forum Program in coming months to allow bank personnel to meet with representatives to meet with state and federal regulatory authorities.

The program, which will be held in two sections on May 28 in Hopkinsville, Ky., and on June 11 in Lexington, Ky., will include participation by representatives from Kentucky’s Department of Financial Institutions, the FDIC, OCC and Federal Reserve.

State and federal agency representatives will update bankers on issues observed in the examination process and will be available to answer questions from bankers on an informal basis. A luncheon will be held after forum discussions, followed by a golf outing.

Registration for the program, which includes the forum and lunch, is $80 per person. Total costs including the golf outing come to $135 per person. Both of the forums will begin at 9 a.m. at the Links at Novadell in Hopkinsville and the Griffin Gate Marriott in Lexington.
