International Bank of Azerbaijan launches new promotional campaign with Visa, Azercell

The state-controlled International Bank of Azerbaijan, mobile phone operator Azercell and Visa recently launched a joint promotion to allow customers to receive extra minutes when they pay their bills using a debit card.

The offer is valid for all IBA-issued Visa debit cards, excluding pension, social and business cards. The bank will notify cardholders of the offer using their mobile phone numbers. Both registration and participation is free, and bonus minutes are added monthly, CISTRANFinance reports.

The move follows another IBA promotion with Visa that allows cardholders who travel outside of Azerbaijan to earn prizes when they use their credit card outside of the country.

Headquartered in Baku, the International Bank of Azaerbaijan consists of 36 branches and 95 service outlets in more than 40 cities. The bank has the largest asset scope, customer base and international business of all banks in the South Caucasus region, and counts more than 30,000 corporate customers and 400,000 individual customers in total.
