Freddie Mac to offer seven-year reference notes

Freddie MacFreddie Mac, one of the nation’s largest mortgage funding companies, announced on Tuesday it plans to offer new seven-year reference notes, the price guidance of which is due on May 1, 2020.

The reference notes security has been offered through a syndicate of dealers headed by Barclays, Citigroup and Deutsche Bank. An application has been made to list the issue on the Luxembourg Stock Exchange’s Euro MTF market.

The issue was priced at 99.43 to yield 1.46 percent—22.5 basis points more than seven-year U.S. Treasury Notes—and will settle on April 4.
