A+ Federal Credit Union announced recently that it has partnered with MoneyEdu to provide free online financial education through self-paced learning and activities.
The offering includes courses, activities and worksheets that will help to teach members how to address financial challenges and life events, such as paying for college, buying a home and getting out of debt.
Members can set up monthly spending plans and budgets to compare with their actual spending. They can also establish short- and long-term financial goals, as well as calculate the cost of financing a vehicle or borrowing for college.
“Without financial literacy, consumers are faced with significant challenges in managing their personal finances,” A+ CEO Kerry Parker said. “Exposing them to financial education tools, such as MoneyEdu, empowers them to make sound financial decisions to meet their life goals.”
