CU4Kids, NCUF partner to encourage sponsorship of Biz Kid$ DVDs

National Credit Union Foundaion ncufCredit Unions for Kids and the National Credit Union Foundation recently partnered to increase the number of financial education opportunities for patients and their families at Children’s Miracle Network hospitals throughout the U.S.

Credit unions and their chapters are able to sponsor a box sex of Biz Kid$ DVDs for their local CMN hospitals for $300.

Biz Kid$—an Emmy Award-winning public television series funded by credit unions—teaches kids ages nine to 16 about entrepreneurship and money management.

The institutions are encouraged to purchase the box sets by March 15 so donations can be made to CMN hospitals in April, which is National Financial Literacy Month.

Each box set has been designed to allow a participating credit union to customize the DVD box sex with their logo, website and other institution-specific information.

Additionally, participating credit unions and chapters that commit to sponsoring a box set will be included in related CU4Kids and NCUF press releases, receive acknowledgement by the sponsors on their websites and receive thanks on Twitter and in ads in credit union trade publications.

According to the NCUF, since the launch of the Biz Kid$ series, the program has been broadcast on more than 300 public television stations and has reached 271 million Americans.
