The Federal Home Loan Bank of Chicago will host its credit union conference at the Langham Hotel from April 23-24 at the Langham Hotel.
The conference will feature discussion and training in asset liability management techniques, interest rate risk management using FHLB advances and marketing strategies to boost member service and revenue at credit unions.
On April 23, participants will check in and register before joining Chicago FHLB President and CEO Matt Feldman and Dennis Campbell, a business professor at Harvard University, for a roundtable discussion, followed by an ALM workshop hosted by McGuire Performance Solutions.
The following day will kick off with opening remarks and an update on housing finance reform from Feldman. After Feldman’s session Campbell will host a discussion on customer experience-based strategies.
Chicago FHLB Vice President of External Affairs David Feldhaus will then moderate a legislative update. Participants will include Wisconsin Credit Union League President and CEO Brett Thompson and Illinois Credit Union League General Counsel and COO Stephen Olson.
A discussion on credit union growth prospects will be held by FTN Financial Chief Economist Chris Low, followed by a credit union panel on managing interest rate risk. The session will conclude with a look at development in mobile and online markets, led by ProfitStars Director of Strategic Insight Lee Wetherington.
