CenPOS, a merchant-oriented, end-to-end payments engine that provides business solutions, announced on Tuesday it named mobile and electronic payments executive Christopher Justice as the company’s president and CEO.
“I couldn’t be more delighted to be working with such a talented group of customer-focused professionals,” Justice said. “It is exciting to offer such a feature-rich solution to our software partners and merchants that helps them manage what was previously unmanageable—interchange. Traditionally, it was only the largest merchants that deployed a system like this. The cloud takes the complexity and difficulty away so that mid-sized merchants can enjoy the same economies of scale that their bigger competitors have experienced.”
Justice has served as the head of many companies over the course of 25 years in the payments industry, holding positions at First Data, Ingenico and Concord EFS.
“Over the years, Chris saw CenPOS as a company that could change how payments were delivered to mid-sized businesses,” Jorge Fernandez, CenPOS’ current CEO and co-founder who will continue as company chairman, said. “He immediately understood the potential impact of CenPOS’ platform and how it could benefit merchants.”
CenPOS has partnered with hundreds of affiliates to offer its technology to promote fast, secure payment transactions for merchants using its cloud-based platform.
