BBVA Compass introduced on Monday its Business Mobility Bundle, which is designed to help microbusinesses manage their finances on the go.
Microbusinesses, which account for approximately 95 percent of all small businesses, typically generate less than $500,000 in annual revenue, much of which results from mobile transactions.
“Owners of these businesses often have no employees and very little time to visit bank branches, even for routine transactions like making deposits,” Lonnie Hayes, the small business segment director for BBVA Compass, said. “We saw an opportunity to provide a much-needed solution designed with their unique needs in mind.”
The bundle package includes an e-Business checking account, online and mobile banking features and a merchant Mobility Pack complete with a secure card reader for processing mobile transactions.
Qualifying customers who open e-Business checking accounts will be eligible to receive the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 until Sept. 30.
“That’s exactly what this new account offers: banking anywhere, anytime and using a device they choose,” Hayes said. “It was built with the needs of the micro-business in mind, and that truly sets it apart.”
