Bank of America launches new user interface for Works clients in U.S., Canada

bank of america merill lynchBank of America Merrill Lynch’s Global Transaction Services division announced on Monday the launch of a new user interface for the bank’s Works online management tool for commercial card clients in the U.S. and Canada.

The platform helps firms manage all aspects of card programs, and the new design builds on the user experience to streamline data presentation and workflows as well as promote more efficient navigation and search capabilities.

“This multi-million dollar investment underscores our commitment to providing our card clients with leading products and services,” Kevin Phalen, the head of global card and comprehensive payables at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, said. “For many years, our clients have praised the industry-leading functionality of Works and we’re pleased to leverage their valuable direct input in the redesign of the program’s user interface. The changes will have an immediate impact on our clients’ ability to effectively manage their card payments and overall working capital.”

The platform upgrade does not require data migration or system changes, and clients will be able to log in under their existing credentials. The interface will be phased in starting this month and will initially be available to clients who use the Works program.
