Allied Wallet recently announced its global merchants have more ways to connect with users now that it has been EMEA certified by American Express.
Allied Wallet is a global provider of multi-currency merchant services, secured credit card processing and a PCI level payment gateway. It provides a payment processing engine that allows merchants to sell their products or services in 196 countries. The new EMEA certification from American Express will allow its merchants to accept American Express payment cards for the first time.
EMEA areas include 125 countries and territories located in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Allied Wallet had more than 52 million users in the first quarter of 2013. The company said it expects it grow the number even further now that its merchants have more methods to connect to users.
One of the company’s most popular products is its virtual eWallet solution, which allows people to set up free virtual accounts regardless of currency including, Japanese yen, Chinese yuan, British pound and the euro.
A virtual eWallet account enables customers to make purchases with any Allied Wallet merchant or send and receive money from any virtual eWallet holder.
Allied Wallet recently embarked on a separate campaign entitled #MyBigIdea. The campaign encourages the public to submit business ideas. Allied Wallet offers assistance and advice for the plans at no charge.
