AliExpress, a global shopping platform that offers more than 54 million products at wholesale products and delivers to nearly all countries around the world, recently announced customers can pay instantly and securely using WebMoney.
“The addition of WebMoney as an AliExpress payment option further enhances the flexibility we can offer our customers around the world and in our key markets such as Russia,” Jason Liu, the senior manager of AliExpress Russia, said. “WebMoney is one of the most popular payment options in Russia and the surrounding areas – we believe that our local customers will benefit from a seamless payment experience.”
AliExpress joins more than 50,000 online merchants that accept WebMoney, a type of digital wallet that allows purchases in a number of different currencies.
AliExpress payments are powered by Alipay, a third-party payment solution. The site offers buyer protection, which holds payment to the merchant until the buyer is satisfied with the purchase.
