The Electronic Transactions Association announced this week that more than 60 payments innovations will be presented at the TRANSACT 14 payment conference’s sold-out expo floor next month.
“There is no better place to unveil our latest payments technology than TRANSACT,” Derek Webster, the founder and CEO of mobile payments provider CardFlight, which will present at the conference, said. “The number of representatives from the payments community is very impressive and we are excited to show them our innovative new technology.”
TRANSACT 14, which will be held April 8-10 at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas, will bring together 4,000 industry players from 1,000 firms in 24 countries. Registration is open at ETA’s website.
“The ground-breaking nature of these product and service debuts shows that TRANSACT 14 is the hub of activity in payments and technology,” ETA CEO Jason Oxman said. “If you are in payments, technology, mobile, retail or commerce, you simply have to be here. ETA is proud that the companies making headlines at TRANSACT 14 are moving the payments technology industry into the future.”
The conference will also feature the presentation of the TRANSACT E-Pay Innovation Award—a $50,000 award funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation for the company displaying “the most innovative product with the promise of providing financial services to underserved communities.”
