The National Cybersecurity Alliance recently announced that it has become an association sponsor of the upcoming RSA Conference scheduled from Feb. 24-28.
During the conference, the NCSA—a non-profit public-private partnership aimed at helping people become safer and more secure online—and RSA Conference will work to increase awareness of the role cybersecurity plays in national defense and to advocate for increased engagement about cybersecurity at the C-Suite executive level.
The RSA Conference highlights technology issues like privacy, application and mobile security, as well as identity and access management. NCSA will host and participate in panel discussions and social media activities at the conference.
“Each year, NCSA leadership and many of our supporting STOP. THINK. CONNECT. campaign partners look forward to participating in RSA Conference because it’s an information sharing environment where ideas about the best approaches to solving the world’s cyber challenges are discussed and made better,” NCSA Executive Director Michael Kaiser said. “We appreciate industry events like RSA Conference because it gives us a forum to explore creative solutions to digital challenges that threaten both our national defense and digital citizens.”
Conference events will include a STOP. THINK. CONNECT. Twitter chat with RSA and NCSA leaders, panels on how cybersecurity awareness strengthens education and engagement of C-Suite executives in cybersecurity and a cocktail party.
