Citi Retail Services announced on Monday the renewal of its credit card agreement with fuel provider Sunoco.
Under the agreement—originally reached in 2004—Citi and Sunoco will work towards improving the customer experience and growing Sunoco’s card programs, and Citi will use its data analytics capabilities and credit marketing services to boost sales.
“We’re thrilled to partner with Sunoco to reward its loyal customers with a best-in-class private label credit experience,” Leslie McNamara, the managing director and executive vice president of partner management for Citi Retail Services, said. “We’re honored to continue to help build our partner’s position as an industry leader.”
Citi-issued Sunoco products include the Sunoco Rewards Card and Sunoco Corporate Card. Citi Retail Services provides consumer and commercial credit products—private label and co-branded—to national and regional retailers and consumers across the country.
Philadelphia-based Sunoco has more than 5,000 fuel retail outlets in 25 states. It is the official fuel of NASCAR and 50 other racing sanctions and is part of the Energy Transfer family of companies.
Customers can find more information about the rewards program at any Sunoco station in the U.S. or at www.sunocorewards.com to apply online.
