GuestLogix announced last week an agreement with Wideroe, Scandinavia’s largest regional airline, to provide the airline with its onboard retail technology platform for the purchase of food and beverages.

The GuestLogix solution includes POS handheld devices to enable secure and PCI-compliant transacting onboard. Wideroe aircraft will be equipped with the devices to accept credit card payments on all domestic and international flights.

Wideroe was named European Airline of the Year for 2012-2013 by the European Regions Airline Association. The airline operates over 400 flights each day and flies to 47 domestic and international locations.
